Subjects Taught

I graduated from North Mesquite High School and immediately enrolled in classes at Eastfield Community College in Mesquite, TX where I was raised.  After two years I transferred to Texas A& M-Commerce where I earned a degree in  Interdisciplinary Studies.  I obtained my Texas certification upon graduating in EC-4th grade generalist. A year later I added Special Education and ESL certification.

My career began during internship/residency in Greenville ISD teaching in a 1st grade general class and a 5th grade S.S./Science class.  Upon graduation I took a position at a private school as a 3 year old Pre-K lead teacher.  The following year I took a position as a Special education aide with Lumberton ISD.  My husband I relocated to Red Oak and I was hired on to a charter school in south Dallas teaching Special Education Resource, CM, and Inclusion.  After four years there I began working at Shields Elementary in ROISD.

Hello, I am Lisa Ingram and I am so excited to be a member of Shields Elementary! I live here in Red Oak with my amazing husband, John, and our three girls, Tristen, Jordan, and Riley.  I am passionate about teaching, reading, church, and family.  I look forward to working with you this school year.
